First Annual Native Tree Planting at Foxfield Preserve
On May 16th plot owners, TWC staff, and the guys from OhioTree.com planted 10 large ball stock trees at the
preserve. Flowering dogwood, Ohio buckeye, and shagbark hickory were just some of the species planted.
We hope this becomes and annual event at the preserve. A special thanks to OhioTree.com who donated their
labor and equipment and made the planting a success.
OhioTree is a great conservation minded company. Their policy is to plant 2 trees for every 1 they remove.
They will be working with The Wilderness Center to plant 1500 trees on TWC lands this year.
