Visiting a Gravesite
We created this video to help you visualize what your experience will be like when visiting a gravesite at Foxfield Preserve. Because we are a certified Conservation Burial Ground, gravesites are quickly restored to a natural state and mowing is not allowed, making it more difficult to find and access a gravesite compared to a conventional cemetery.
If you are concerned that you may not be able to find a gravesite, please contact us one week in advance and we will create a narrow footpath to the site and mark the path by placing a stake alongside the vehicle path. You can reach us at (330) 359-5235 or by email at Foxfield@WildernessCenter.org.
As your loved one’s family and friends, you are our important partners inĀ the stewardship and care of the land that your loved one has chosen to preserve and protect when they reserved a space at Foxfield. We request that you read and follow our Nature Code of Conduct during your visits to the preserve. Thank you for your cooperation.
